America is Not Generous To Americans

I find most church people to be like politicians. Its all image to these people. They really don't give 2 shits about you! They have huge bank accounts, drive expensive cars and the pastor wears a 2,000.00 suit! Yet when you face being homeless are sick and dying they say"we will pray that God will provide for you but we can't". Yeah like God is going to open a giant wallet and drop a few hundreds down to me!" Its people like that supposed to represent God helping the lesser and unfortunate of us. That's what their book tells them. Not many of them follow it. They are despicable. But as I get more bitter, I get sicker. I'm really not trying to feel like this. Its windy, cold and raining. I'm dry but cold. Why can't anyone help me? I can't get mail now if anyone out of the area send money it will have to be sent by wire. Not like anyone will anyway

The world is a cold place filled with uncaring greedy people. Especially the religious. They are such phonies. They say "we can't help you, but we will pray for you and God will help you. Well last time I checked, God was a spirit. He can't just get out of His fancy car, straighten His 2,000 suit and open His wallet like you pastor". They love it but its true. Most of the pastors I've met have expensive tastes, yet are very stingy. Its the poor and humble that want to help. Not the rich and religious who go hand in hand. They are such disgusting hypocrite!

What happened?

GREED - pure, unadulterated, all-american, GREED...

CEOs who can't live without their 6+ figure incomes - that's what happened. Everyday Americans who decided that suburbia, with their gated communities and multimillion dollar homes, was more important than caring for their extended family members. Addicts who cared more about chasing a high, than taking care of their responsibilities. Parents who cared more about what they wore, then where their kids were and what they were doing.

Let's not forget the sense of entitlement: those who feel they are entitled to certain benefits simply because they exist. That's what happened. 

We used to be the richest, most powerful country in the world. Now, we have a trillion dollar debt, and millions of homeless, hungry people. People have become apathetic to the situation around them, but let's give millions to other countries before we feed and clothe our own! Its a joke! They say unemployment has gone down. That is only because people have been kicked off because their time limit is up. Welfare has gone down as well, but there are far more people living in poverty than ever before. They just don't count them because cash benefits are no longer given out. 

It used to be that when things got tough, the tough got going... but where do they go now? There are no more extended families. There is a general sense of mistrust among most people - they are all just trying to survive among those who are trying to scam a quick buck...

I know my words do not fill your plate or keep a roof over your head, but there are those of us who do understand, and are just as disgusted. All the while, we wonder how to keep a roof over our family, while trying to help each other... there are no easy answers...

Hello,  I am truly sorry.  This saddens me deeply.  I wonder at times myself what is the world coming to?  Try to keep warm.  Stay safe.
